Ahmed Ali's novel "The Darkness in Delhi" discusses the issues of pandemic and coloniality. The novel takes place in India between 1911-1919 and describes the effects of epidemic diseases and colonialism such as Spanish flu and verema. The purpose of the study is to study how the characters of the novel dealt with pandemic and coloniality from the social gender perspective. In the light of the study by susan sontag called "sickness as a metaphor", similarities will be studied using the content analysis method. and a)
