The sources used for explanations in the text and the summary corresponding to the author's text form the subject of metadiscourse in the most detailed manner, a topic that has garnered considerable attention in academic texts in recent years. While the term seems easy to accept in principle, it's actually quite challenging to determine the boundaries of metadiscourse. Given that the expressions and phrases the author uses are selected from a finite system of options, the central role of this theory is undeniable, especially since the "advertising" words crucial for the author's persuasion of the reader are missing. Coupled with the metadiscourse model, where advertisements are deemed rhetorical in these comprehensive academic texts, metadiscursive advertisements indicate how the reader should interpret the text. The author oversees the process of nominalization from beginning to end, simultaneously enlightening the reader about the narrative. Alongside this nominalization, maintaining grammar is another critical element for the writer to uphold his/her stance, as it involves systematically planning grammatical structures, aiming for precise movement within the text. Lexico-grammatical patterns not only facilitate the interpretation of metadiscursive advertisements in conjunction with their content but also significantly contribute to initiating a certain conceptual model. Consequently, this study identifies the lexico-grammatical patterns of metadiscursive nouns in detailed Turkish academic texts and makes comparisons across different fields. The research relies on a database comprised of articles in the fields of applied linguistics and marketing within the human and social sciences, sourced from DergiPark in 2022, totaling 42,221 words, with an average of 20,000 words per field. Ultimately, it will describe the lexical and grammatical patterns of metadiscursive nouns utilized in selected human and social science disciplines, and discuss the specificity or variances between fields in a comparative manner
