Öz. Türkiye'deki yabancı öğrencilere Türkçe öğreten kurumlar için öğretim programlarında değişiklikler yapmak zorunluluğu birçok araştırmada vurgulanırken Türkçeyi yabancı dil olarak (TYD) öğreten ders araç ve gereçlerinin programa uygunluğu ve bu açıdan gözden geçirilmesi göz ardı edilmektedir. Özellikle öğrenmeyi kolaylaştıran ve kalıcı öğrenmeyi sağlayan ders araç ve gereçlerinin Avrupa Dilleri Öğretimi Başvuru Metnine göre yeniden gözden geçirilmesi büyük önem arz etmektedir. Son zamanlarda hazırlanan TYD ders kitapları birçok açıdan eksiklikleri karşılamasına rağmen öğrenmeyi daha etkili kılacak görseller ve okuma metinlerinin algısal boyutunun incelenmesi bir zorunluluk olarak görülmelidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Yunus Emre Enstitüsü tarafından hazırlanan yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde kullanılan Yedi İklim Türkçe B2 Seviye ders kitabında yer alan metinlerdeki iç ve dış mekân görsellerinin algısal boyutunu araştırmaktır. Çalışmanın sonuçları, Yedi İklim Türkçe B2 Seviyesinde yer alan ünitelerdeki görsellerin iç ve dış mekânsal yönünün verildiği, ancak görsellerin dolaylı ve doğrudan sunulmasının eşit oranda verilmediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Turkish language teaching course books for foreigners (TFL) and their appropriateness to the curriculum are likely to be ignored even though their necessary application to do rechanges for Turkish language teaching institutions in Turkey is emphasized in several studies. Especially, it is vitally important to review and redesign TFL course books regarding Common European Framework of Languages for References which facilitates permanent learning of foreign language learning. Therefore, currently, it has been a must to investigate into visuals and reading texts in TFL coursebooks in terms of perceptional aspects for activating learning even if these books eliminate insufficiency of their usability in several aspects. The aim of this current study is to investigate the perceptional aspects of indoors and outdoors visuals, texts, and types of texts in TFL coursebooks entitled Yedi İklim Türkçe B2 prepared and utilized by Yunus Emre Institution. The findings indicate that all visuals in Yedi İklim Türkçe B2 coursebooks include visuals of indoors and outdoors, however, they lack balance among the units in the book.
