Teachers Job Satisfaction and Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction
In this study, job satisfaction attitudes of teachers and the factors affect the job satisfaction are explored. The population of this research consists of all teachers working in the Murzuk region of Libya (675 teachers). The Murzuk region is located in the south of Libya and represents a broad demographic range of teachers working in different schools. The questionnaire used in the research was taken from Nashwan Hamdi Hussein AlBayati’s (2018) master's thesis. The questionnaire consists of two sections. In the first part of the research, demographic questions aimed at determining participants' gender, age, marital status, academic title, salary level, and years of service at the educational institution where they work are included. In the second part, the Job Satisfaction Scale is used. In the study, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was applied for Job Satisfaction Scale, and then variance analysis were conducted between the factors obtained from the EFA and demographic variables. According to the research results, significant differences were found in terms of job satisfaction between the age and innovation attitude, degree and motivation attitude, monthly income and innovation attitude of teachers’.
