Personality Traits Of Secondary School Girls Aspiring To Study Science, Technology, Engineering And Mathematics (stem) In Benin Metropolis Of Edo State, Nigeria

The study focused on the personality traits of secondary school girls aspiring to study STEM subjects in Benin metropolis of Edo State, Nigeria. It found that factors such as age and course of interest influence girls aspiring to STEM careers, and identified traits like flexibility, self-esteem, enterprising spirit, team spirit, social skills, and stress tolerance in these girls. The study concluded that personality traits play a significant role in girls aspiring to STEM careers, and recommended raising awareness among parents, teachers, and stakeholders to encourage girls' participation in STEM fields and discourage gender discrimination by employers.
