Murat ÇELİK 47 , İbrahim KOCABAŞ 48 , Mahmut BOYRAZ 49 , Özet 20. yüzyılın en önemli olaylarından birisi internetin insanlığın hizmetine sunulmasıdır. İletişim uyduları, gelişmiş teknoloji, bilgisayarlarla birleşmiş ve "İletişim Çağı" başlamıştır. Günümüzde, yaygınlaşan internet ağı sayesinde eğitim alanında da internet ve bilişim teknolojileri çokça kullanılmaktadır. Bununla birlikte eğitim, okul ve sınıf sınırlarını aşıp siber ortamlarda gerçekleştirilebilmektedir. Bu durumda internetin kullanılmasının da bazı kurallara bağlı olduğu unutulmamalıdır. Yeni bir kavram olarak "Netiket" ortaya çıkmıştır. Netiket, ağ görgü kurallarını içermektedir. Çevrimiçi nezaket ve siber alanın gayriresmi "yol kurallarını" kapsamaktadır. Bu araştırma "Netiket" kavramının ne olduğu, Netiket'in önemi ve onun temel bileşenleri ile ilgilidir. Araştırma ile Netiket bilgisinin tarihsel, kuramsal boyutları incelenip eğitim kurumlarında, eğitim yönetiminde resmî ve sosyal ilişkilerin gelişmesine katkı sunacağına inanılan Netiket'in bilimsel olarak incelenmesi ve alana katkı sağlanması düşünülmektedir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırma konusu ile ilgili dünya genelinde yapılmış veya düzenlenmiş olan araştırmalar, çalışmalar, uygulama raporları ile bilgi, belge ve veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler biriktirilip düzenlenerek incelenmiş ve rapor biçiminde oluşturulup düzenli hale getirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Netiket, belirli web siteleri veya teknoloji parçaları hakkında değil, ilişkiler ve insanların nasıl davrandıklarıyla ilgilidir. Günümüzde çocuklar küçük yaşlardan itibaren internet kullanmaya başlamaktadırlar. İnternetin ve mobil teknolojinin çok hızlı bir şekilde gelişip yaygınlaşması ile birlikte bunların eğitimdeki uygulamaları da aynı hızla gelişip yaygınlaşmaktadır.
