The purpose of this research is to obtain student-centric data for solutions-oriented management measures to be taken in order to increase success in educational environments, by studying the dimensions of the meanings that professional high school students are charged with success / failure in their courses.Research is an imaginary research and the scan method has been used. The study universe of the research enters the 2015-2016 academic year in the central district of education - teaching continues in four different sections of the vocational high school forms high school tenth and high school 12th class students.160 students participated in this minval research. In the research, the data collection tool was used as the causal dimensions scale ii, which belongs to the original mcauley, duncan and russell (1992) and adapted to the Turkish cochyiğit (2011).The data in the research was tested with frequency and percentage, arithmetic average, standard deviation, unrelated sampling t test and one-way variance analysis. The research results show that the burden that high school students succeed is internal, the person can be controlled by himself, continuous and but external control is closed.Students show their achievements, need-wish-love to the course, working with regular understanding, achievements in relation to past learning, active participation in the course, the structure/content of the course (verbal-number), the teacher’s characteristics and the teaching techniques that teachers use.In their failure charging, the successful charging has shown that the addresses contain more external, less personally controllable, temporary but more clear external controls. The percentage and frequency analysis for the causes of failure has been understood that the causes of failure of students are mostly, the teacher’s characteristics, the teaching techniques they use, the structure/content of the course (verbally-numerally), the need-interest-wish-love situations against the course, the type of measurement used in the assessment of the course and past learning achievements.
