Tuning Of The Pid Controller Parameters Based On The Time Specifications Via Improved-gwo Algorithm For Buck Converter

This paper introduces an Improved-Grey Wolf Optimizer (I-GWO) based control method for tuning PID controller parameters in buck converter control to enhance transient response. The method focuses on defining a multi-objective function based on time response specifications like settling time, rise time, percent overshoot, and steady-state error to determine optimal PID controller parameters. Simulation tests including time response analysis, frequency response analysis, and disturbance rejection demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in improving the transient response of the buck converter compared to existing studies.
