Perceived as a threat to the political authority of the Quraysh, the Muslims faced various pressures and had to leave their homes and homeland and migrate to Medina. Even in Medina, the new their homeland of the Muslims, their political existence was not recognized by the Quraysh. This situation led to conflict between the two sides, resulting in inevitable wars and the loss of important people on both sides. In such a hostile environment, it was not possible for either side to talk about the idea of peace. The Prophet and Muslims faced harsh reactions and measures from the Quraysh during their journey from Medina to Mecca for Umrah and visiting the Kaaba. The Prophet displayed a great example of patience in the face of the vindictive and threatening attitude of the Quraysh during the journey for Umrah and visiting the Kaaba. In this context, the Peace Treaty of Hudaybiya is of great importance in terms of signaling the acceptance of the political existence of Muslims. The aim of this research is to convey the Hudaybiya Peace Treaty, which enabled the political recognition of Muslims by the Quraysh for the first time, from a psychosocial perspective. In this research, the general situation of Muslims and Quraysh before the treaty, the strategies of the Prophet and Quraysh during the negotiations, and the reactions of Muslims to the treaty are discussed.
