The use of fuel burning devices brings with it the problem of air pollution. In addition to dust, CO, CO2, 502, NOx, PaHs, ecotoxic elements, etc. The issue of pollution is a current problem worldwide. Especially in countries where buildings need to be heated intensively during the winter, significant deterioration in air quality is caused by the use of heating devices. The energy consumption of the building, the type and quality of the fuel and heating device used, and the chimney used to discharge the flue gas directly affect the increase in the release of pollutants and flue gas into the atmosphere. Chimney systems responsible for evacuating gases and flue gases from buildings also play an equally important role in the discussed problem. In other words, properly designing the chimney of the boiler outlet, which is the heating device of the building, reduces heat losses, the amount of fuel used and the amount of emissions released into the atmosphere. The use of software- based applications has increased in recent years in order to minimize greenhouse gas emissions such as oxygen (02) [%), carbon dioxide (CO2) (%) and monoxide (CO) [ppm] by determining the composition of the flue gas discharged through the chimney ducts, taking into account the chimney. types that can be designed. has started. In this study, a circular cross-section chimney design was made for an apartment with a 100 000 kcal/h natural gas-fired boiler in Batman city using the Kesa Aladin package program. As chimney. materials for the circular chimney type, stainless steel, chamotte form stones, varnished ceramics and asbestos concrete were used. used. As a result of the analyses, the flue diameter diagram changes and the analysis parameters that changed accordingly were evaluated with the simulation. program
