A worldwide concern that poses a threat to the health of the general population is the rise of antibiotic resistance, which is currently recognized as a problem on a global scale. As a result of the expansion of antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains and the paucity of innovative medications, it is thus necessary that scientific study be undertaken on natural products as substances that hold a considerable amount of biological and chemical potential. Natural products are substances that have the potential to be used in several applications. Alkaloids are a collection of naturally occurring compounds that are derived from a broad variety of plants that are higher in the plant kingdom. They are one of the groups of substances that have a significant amount of significance. The purpose of this study is to investigate the antibacterial activity of these alkaloids against conventional antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. The data for this study comes from a wide range of research institutions. This topic was the focus of the study that was carried out in order to explore it. In order to shed light on the enormous potential of alkaloids as antibacterial agents, the researchers were able to shed light on the link between structure and function.
