Designing a stage requires knowledge, skill and intensive effort in addition to being educated. It aims to give the theme of the show in its components. The show can exist with or without text. In the detailing phase, the designer uses basic knowledge of different fields. In other words, in a thematic presentation that is formed; it aims to share information, that is, to develop the experience of the audience. Human safety is prioritized when the stage area is equipped. The area and equipment should be safe for the stage actor-audience and other participants. Regardless of its purpose, it aims for the emotional experience of the receiver. In a visually oriented work, the task assigned to the stage design components increases. Stage costume designers do not ignore other theatrical tools in action design. The artistic and technical components in the preparation of the stage are handled one by one according to the purpose of the production. Integrated aesthetic elements in the space are reshaped in each interpretation. While the costumer tries to obtain the means of expression, compliance with the infrastructure exists by assimilating the space. Adding technical infrastructure to the interpretation of the play in the space brings the space back to life. It requires various decorative elements and innovation in the costume. In addition, various softwares support the designer in decorating the space and designing costumes. However, it does not change the priority of manual design. In stage decoration-costume design; there are common and distinctive aspects of designing elements for theater, dance, cinema, concert, celebration, showcase design, exhibition. Each of the costumes, sound-lighting designs and accessories are shaped by different requirements. Although it seems like a dressing process with plain logic, internal features are loaded by creating an external image in the dramatic structure. Therefore, costumes are an important part of the stage solution, the designer develops his own language. For common expression tools in staging; the text in which the dramatic story is told is taken into consideration. The period in which the play was written and the director's interpretation are decisive. The theater designer starts his work by participating in reading rehearsals and "basic rehearsals to reveal the distinctive aspects of characters and types.
