Polyethylene, one of the thermoplastic materials, is a very important material due to its intensive use in many different areas, from the aviation industry to the medical product industry. However, this intensively used material requires intensive research due to its many different areas of use. In this context, in this research, numerical analyzes were carried out using ANSYS software (finite element analysis) because it is cost effective and gives results very close to the experimental results. Within the scope of the study, tensile test simulations of polyethylene materials with different densities were carried out and the results obtained were compared. Moreover, suggestions have been made for different usage areas, based on the results obtained. In the tensile test simulations performed in the ANSYS program, it was observed that the highest stress occurred in the middle part (region). When the highest and lowest tensile strength values obtained were compared, it was seen that the highest tensile strength was approximately 1% higher than the lowest tensile strength. Additionally, when the highest % breaking elongation values and the lowest % breaking elongation values were compared, it was seen that the highest % breaking elongation value was approximately 80% higher than the lowest % breaking elongation value.
