This research was carried out to determine the effects of different lysophosphatidylethanolamine (lpe) treatments on fruit quality and color development on 'fertility' olive cultivar in edremit gulf in Turkey. for this purpose, olives on the trees of 'fertility' cultivar were spreayed with 0 (control treatment), 1000 and 2000 mg l-1 (0.1% and 0.2% respectively) with 4 repeats about 5 weeks prior to harvest respectively. the effect of lpe on pomological parameters such as maturity index (mi), fruit weight (g of 100 fruits), pulp ratio (%) and the effect of lpe on some biochemical properties of fruit such as total chlorophyll contents (μg ml-1) and total carotenoid contents (μg ml-1) were investigated in fruit samples that were collected in intervals of about 10 days from October to November. according to the results; 0.2% dose of lpe treatments were positively affected uniform coloring without pre-harvest drop. The same dose has significant effects on high fruit quality.
