Financial markets are the environments in which purchases and sales occur that bring together entrepreneurs who demand funds and savings.Capital markets, which are an extension of financial markets, are markets where debt instruments and own capital instruments are traded over a year.All transactions in capital markets with misleading, misleading, insufficient explanations or artificial means aimed at raising, decreasing or fixing securities market prices are included in the definition of manipulation.This study addressed manipulations that destroyed the trust of investors in the markets and destroyed the economic structure.The purpose of the study is to explain process-based manipulation, causes, purposes, techniques, methods of detection and results by making a literary scan.It has been shown that the process-based movements can be easily implemented in our market with the necessary legal arrangements to deal with this problem.The measures to be taken to prevent manipulations are life, because the safe and safe functioning of the supply and demand mechanism in capital markets is of great importance in the development of the country’s economy.Keywords: manipulation, capital markets, process-based manipulation, market fraud
