The purpose of this research is to identify the views of high school mathematician teachers working in the rural sector on the use of material.The research has been used as one of the quality research patterns.The study’s work group consists of 21 high school mathematics teachers who work in the rural department in the 2018-2019 educational year.The data of the research was collected through semi-configured conversations with the teachers of mathematics using the interview form prepared by the researchers.In the analysis of the data, visual analysis was used.According to the research, the majority of mathematical teachers working in the countryside have various materials in the school, while very few have found that there is no material other than the curriculum.The teachers immediately said they found that the school material they worked was insufficient.In addition, the teachers who participated in the research pointed out the reasons for the use of material as the visualization of the lessons, the attraction of interest and attention, the contribution of meaningful learning and the use of time effectively; the reasons for the use of the lessons as the formation of crowds, the lack of necessity, making the subject more complex.The opinions of teachers about the contribution of the use of material to the learning-learning process are in the form that the materials concrete the subjects, provide permanent learning and therefore should be used frequently.
