Abstract: In science education, some missing parts can be found in the transfer of threedimensional visuals onto paper by reducing them to two-dimensions. In this study, it was aimed to examine the titration mechanism drawings of preservice science teachers. 65 preservice teachers studying in the third grade of Science Education Department participated in the study. Case study was conducted in the research. In order to collect the data, preservice teachers were given a titration of fruit juice experiment in Science Laboratory Applications-II course and asked to draw the shape of titration mechanism in the following week. A checklist was prepared by the researchers for the analysis of the drawings. There are two statements in the checklist, namely "available (1 point)unavailable (0 point)". The drawings were examined in terms of whether or not "burette, erlenmeyer flask / beherglas, titrant material, analyte material, stand and clamp". As a result of the research, it was observed that all of the preservice teachers drew burette (100%) and erlenmeyer flask / beherglas (98%); most of them showed stand (72%) and clamp (72%); however, it was found that fewer teacher candidates expressed titrant (43%) and analyte (43%) items in the drawings. In addition, it can be said that 14 preservice teachers stated all categories in their drawings, but this number was insufficient. Based on these findings, it can be suggested that preservice science teachers, who will be the teachers of the future, should carefully express the two-dimensional drawings of the three-dimensional experimental setups in order to prevent possible misconceptions in their students.
