Purpose: epilepsy is a clinical picture that occurs as a result of an abnormal electrical spread that occurs temporarily in the nerve cells, resulting in a disruption of the normal activity of the brain. This disease, which is common in childhood and adolescence, affects 50 million people worldwide. The objective of this study is to evaluate the attitudes of students at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Dicle about epileptic disease and to measure the level of knowledge in the first aid interventions that need to be done in emergencies.Materials and Methods: This study was conducted on students of 4th and 5th classes at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Dicle. The study included 70 4th class, 80 5th class, and 150 people.Questions created from the prepared questions on epilepsy disease were answered by the participants. For statistical evaluation of the data, student-t and ki-core tests were used. Results: According to the survey, 86.8% of all students have not previously received education on this subject, 90.1% of their families have no epilepsy and 74.8% of their families do not know what to do when they encounter an epileptic patient. In the statistical assessment of the survey prepared on what the first interventions should be during an epileptic stroke, the question the students answered most correctly is 98% the question more incorrectly answered than 'sweating clothes' and 47.7% the question 'sweating, colony, etc.It is the question of smelling things. The result: from this study it is concluded that the knowledge of the students of dentistry on epilepsy and patient approaches should be more supported. The fact that doctors, health staff, epileptic patients and their relatives have detailed information about the diagnosis and treatment of the disease improves the quality of life of the patient. For this purpose, education on the disease should be organized, and the entire community should be informed about it.Keywords: epilepsy, dental students, level of knowledge, survey entry epilepsy is defined as a short-term disorder that occurs as a result of temporary abnormal electricity spread in brain cells. This disease is common in childhood and adolescence and affects 1% of the world’s population. It also has negative effects on mobidite, mortality, and labour yield. When researched the incidence of this disease, known among the people as 'sara', it was found that it was more common in individuals over the age of 65 [2].Epilepsy appears as a mythical concept, but is not seen as a disease everywhere in the world. Therefore, the choice of treatment to go to the teacher or to wear a musk has become a common condition [3], [4].The “Global Enlightenment in Epilepsy” campaign was later launched in order to prevent these mysterious thoughts and inform people about it [5].
