Öğretim Hizmetinin Niteliğini Artırma Sürecinde Zeki Öğretim Sistemleriyle İlgili Bir İnceleme

Özet Zeki öğretim sistemleri öğrencinin bilgi düzeyine uygun öğrenme ortamı sunarak öğrencinin daha kolay, hızlı ve kalıcı öğrenmesini sağlamayı amaçlayan yapay zekâ bileşeni içeren sistemlere verilen genel bir addır. Öğrenenlerin bireysel öğrenme ihtiyaçlarına göre uyarlanabilen zeki öğretim sistemleri; bireysel öğrenme sürecinde öğrenenlerin bilişsel durumlarını takip edebilme ve uygun şekilde cevap verebilme özellikleri ile diğer eğitim sistemlerinden farklılaşmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında öğretme-öğrenme sürecine olası katkıları ile çağdaş eğitim uygulamalarında ön plana çıkan zeki öğretim sistemlerinin temel eğitsel özeliklerinin incelenmesi, bu konuyla ilgili uygulamaların ortaya konulması ve bu doğrultuda zeki öğretim sistemlerinin öğretim sürecinin niteliğini artırmaya yönelik katkılarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Zeki öğretim sistemlerinin kullanımı genellikle; öğretim sürecine katılan bilişsel süreçler hakkında modeller geliştirmek ve geleneksel bilgisayar destekli öğretim ile elde edilenden daha iyi bir eğitim önerisi sağlamakla ilgilidir (Sedlmeier, 2001). Zeki öğretim sistemleri, gerçek öğretmenlere benzer şekilde bir öğrencinin konuyla ilgili sahip olduğu bilgiler hakkında değerlendirme yapabilmektedir. Bu da kullanışlı bir özellik olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Çünkü zeki öğretim sistemlerinin en önemli özelliğinin öğrencilere uygun geri bildirimi ve bilgiyi sağlamak olduğu belirtilmektedir (Cedillos & Wolfe, 2015). Bu çalışma kapsamında öğretme-öğrenme sürecine olası katkıları ile çağdaş eğitim uygulamalarında ön plana çıkan zeki öğretim sistemlerinin temel eğitsel özeliklerinin incelenmesi, ilgili uygulamaların ortaya konulması ve bu doğrultuda zeki öğretim sistemlerinin öğretim sürecinin niteliğini artırmaya yönelik katkılarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu değerlendirmeler yapılırken öncelikle zeki öğretim sistemleri ve yapay zekâ ile ilgili tanımlamalar ele alınmaktadır. Daha sonra zeki öğretim sistemlerinin temel özellikleri tanıtılmaktadır. Son olarak bu amaçla geliştirilmiş uygulamalardan da örnekler verilerek, zeki öğretim sistemlerinin öğrenme ortamlarına getirdiği katkılar sistemli bir şekilde sunulmaktadır.

Summary Intelligent teaching systems are a general name given to systems that contain artificial intelligence components aimed at making the student easier, faster and lasting learning by providing a learning environment that fits the student’s knowledge level.Intelligent teaching systems, which can be adapted to the individual learning needs of the learners, differ from other educational systems, with the ability to track and adequately respond to the cognitive situations of the learners in the individual learning process.The aim of this study is to study the basic educational characteristics of the intelligent teaching systems that are in the forefront of the teaching-learning process and the contribution of the intelligent teaching systems to enhance the quality of the teaching process.Keywords: Intelligent teaching systems, artificial intelligence technologies, computer-backed teaching, adaptable learning, improving the quality of the teaching process; Intelligent teaching systems are a general name given to systems that aim to ensure the student's easier, faster and lasting learning and contain artificial intelligence components by providing a learning environment appropriate to the student's level of knowledge.The use of intelligent teaching systems is usually related to developing models on the cognitive processes involved in the teaching process and providing a better educational recommendation than it is obtained by traditional computer-backed teaching (sedlmeier, 2001).Intelligent teaching systems can evaluate the information a student has about the subject in a similar way to the real teachers.This is also considered a useful feature.It is noted that the most important feature of smart teaching systems is to provide students with appropriate feedback and knowledge (cedillos & wolfe, 2015).The aim of this study is to study the basic educational characteristics of the intelligent teaching systems that are in the forefront of the teaching-learning process and to identify the relevant practices and to evaluate the contribution of the intelligent teaching systems to enhance the quality of the teaching process.When these assessments are made, it is primarily addressed to intelligent teaching systems and definitions related to artificial intelligence.The basic characteristics of intelligent teaching systems are then introduced.Finally, examples from the practices developed for this purpose are also given, and the contribution of intelligent teaching systems to the learning environments is systematically presented.
