This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the self-respect and decision-making styles of athletes who participate in university sports competitions, and to reveal whether self-respect and decision-making styles differ according to demographic characteristics. In the study, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University studied and in the educational year 2017-2018 the athletes who participated in sports competitions that were taught by the University Sports Federation, 135 man and others (1998) developed and adapted to the Turkish by the sea (2004) used the Melbourne decision scale i-ii scale" the study resulted in the study athletes who participated in the decision-making self-respect and careful decision-making levels were high, escaping, delaying and panic decision-making styles were found at the middle level.
