Özet Bu araştırma; spor yöneticiliği bölümünde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin sosyal görünüş kaygı düzeylerinin tespit ederek, sosyal görünüş kaygı düzeylerinin demografik özelliklere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu, Spor Yöneticiliği I. ve II. Öğretimde öğrenim gören öğrencilerden 169'una Hart ve arkadaşları (2008) tarafından geliştirilen, Doğan (2010) tarafından Türkçeye Uyarlanan Sosyal Görünüş Kaygı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiki değerlendirmesinde nonparametrik dağılım göstermesinden dolayı Man-Whitney U ve Kruskal-Wallis H testleri uygulanmıştır. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda, araştırmaya katılan spor yöneticiliği öğrencilerin sosyal görünüş kaygı düzeyleri X =34,7101 olarak tespit edilmiş ve ölçekten alınabilecek en düşük ve en yüksek değer göz önüne alınarak (ölçekten en düşük 16 -en yüksek 80 puan alınabilmektedir.), öğrencilerin düşük düzeyde sosyal görünüş kaygı düzeylerine sahip oldukları diğer bir ifade ile spor yöneticiliği bölümünde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin sosyal görünüş kaygısı yaşamadıkları tespit edilmiştir.

This study was conducted to identify the levels of social appearance anxiety of students studying in the Department of Sports Management, to find out whether social appearance anxiety levels differ according to demographic characteristics.In research, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University, Physical Education and Sports High School, Sports Management I. and II.From 169 of the students studying in teaching, the social appearance anxiety scale adapted to Turkish was developed by Hart and his friends (2008) and used by Birth (2010).For the statistical assessment of the obtained data, man-whitney u and kruskal-wallis h tests were applied due to nonparametric distribution.According to the study, the social appearance of anxiety levels of students in sports management that participated in the study were identified as x = 34,7101 and taking into account the lowest and highest values that can be taken from the scale (the lowest of the scale can be taken from 16 to the highest of 80 points.The other expression that students have low levels of social appearance anxiety is that students studying in the Department of Sports Management have not experienced social appearance anxiety.
