DEVELOPMENT PROCESS OF TRAVEL AND TRAVEL BUSINESSES

It is seen that the easier the travel, the more attention it attracts, and the number of people traveling for various reasons has increased throughout history. The development of transportation vehicles and the emergence of commercial enterprises that make things easier are among the main reasons behind the ease and interest of travel. In this section, it is aimed to give information about the development processes of transportation and travel services, which are important parts of travel and tourism movements, in the world and in Turkey. In this direction, the concept of travel and the factors that lead people to travel, the historical evolution of travel movements in the world and in Turkey, the historical development of travel agency and the factors that play a role in this development process are discussed.
