The objective of the study is to determine the values in the book "Anadolu's fairy tales" of Tassin Yuzel, to study the root values in the teaching programmes and to reveal their educational messages. The study found that in the book, values such as love, compassion, patience, self-control, responsibility and friendship are in the forefront, and values such as justice, respect, honesty, patriotism are less.
