This study explores Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) among cycle 2 students in a Lebanese school and the impact of a prevention program. The prevalence of IGD was 1.1%, with students spending over 7 hours daily on electronic games. Male students played MMORPG games more than females. Family factors like economic situation and parental relationships influenced IGD. A prevention program effectively changed students' knowledge and beliefs about excessive gaming risks.
