A novel fractal antenna with a modified ground structure is proposed for wideband applications in this study. The antenna design went through iterations from 0th to 3rd, with the final iteration achieving a bandwidth of 1.88 GHz. By making further modifications to the ground plane, the bandwidth was increased to 2.46 GHz within the frequency range of 3-6 GHz. The antenna's performance parameters, such as reflection coefficient and gain, were analyzed using CST software, with a maximum gain of 5 dB. This antenna design is suitable for applications like WLAN and WiMAX.
