The purpose of this research is to evaluate the 2018 social studies course curriculum in terms of geography literacy. With the findings obtained, it was determined and explained in which learning areas and at which grade levels the geography literacy skill took place in the 2018 Social Studies Curriculum. In this research, which is a qualitative study, document analysis technique was used. As a result of the research, learning areas including geography literacy skills were determined in the 2018 Social Stud ies Curriculum. In the study conducted within the scope of the research, learning areas related to geography literacy are in the learning areas of "People, places and environments" and "production, distribution and consumption" at all grade levels; In terms of learning outcomes, it was seen that 8 acquisitions were given at the 4th Grade level, with 5 acquisitions at the 5th Grade and 3 acquisitions at the 6th and 7th Grade levels. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the acquisitions related to geography literacy determined in the 2018 curriculum of the social studies course are generally sufficient in terms of quality and quantity, and there is no integrity between the classes. It has been determined that 34 acquisitions out of 131 acquisitions at all grade levels in the 2018 curriculum of the social studies course are related to geography literacy. In the literature, it is thought that the scientific studies conducted within the scope of this subject are not sufficient, and the studies to be carried out on this subject will make significant contributions to the field and the education community.
