A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF GOOGLE GEMINI AND CHATGPT: A GLIMPSE INTO THE FUTURE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Artificial intelligence technologies have undergone significant evolution in recent years, leading to groundbreaking innovations in language processing, data analysis, and human-machine interactions. Two prominent platforms in this field, Google Gemini and OpenAI’s ChatGPT, stand out with their diverse capabilities and application areas. Google Gemini excels with its multimodal data processing abilities, enabling it to analyze various types of data, such as text, images, and code simultaneously. This feature makes it a powerful tool for scientific research, engineering, and data analysis in professional fields. The platform's more controlled data ecosystem offers advantages in terms of security and consistency, although it may bring limitations in terms of customization. ChatGPT, on the other hand, appeals to a broader user base with its ability to generate human-like text. It is widely used in areas such as customer service, content creation, and education due to its ability to engage users in natural, fluid dialogues. However, its open nature and wide accessibility can increase the risks of misinformation and manipulation. OpenAI has implemented monitoring mechanisms to minimize these risks, but the platform’s broad user base may still necessitate additional oversight. This paper compares the two platforms in terms of their architectural structures, language model performance, user experience, and issues related to security and ethics.
