The article deals with teaching Business English through real situations. The types of teaching methods, description of case study, and the steps in developing case studies are depicted in the paper. It contains three case studies on Business English from Market Leader, 3rd Edition, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate and Advanced levels. Case studies show true, intricate situations based on real-life contexts, involving indecision, dispute, and issues on which stakeholders should agree or disagree. These active methods help students apply the acquired useful language and communication skills in analysing and solving real business case studies. When carefully planned, case studies challenge students' critical thinking and problem solving skills in a business learning environment.
