This study examines the multifaceted process of enterprise relocation, highlighting its economic, social, and managerial dimensions. Drawing from a review of literature and empirical data, the research outlines the primary stages of relocation: risk assessment, selection of a new location, logistical organization, adaptation to new conditions, and establishing connections with local suppliers and clients. Insights from the Ukrainian experience are presented, where over 1,500 enterprises were relocated to safer western regions in 2022, facilitated by state support programs offering free premises, subsidies, and consulting services. This research contributes to the understanding of enterprise relocation during armed conflicts and provides insights for shaping post-war recovery strategies. It emphasizes the need for transitioning Ukraine’s economy from a raw material-oriented model to one driven by high technology and innovation, ensuring resilience and sustainable growth in a post-conflict landscape.
