It is important to give students of the eighth class information about their math courses, to make them see more similar problems, to improve their class performance, to improve their communication with their classmates and teachers.However, after the events in the course, the teacher takes a lot of time to check what the students do individually.Therefore, the activities that are often performed within the course are not always controlled by the teacher of the course for all students, and the student cannot be aware of progress and performance.The study aimed at examining the impact of the use of edmodo by students outside the school hours on the mathematical achievements and communication skills of eighth class students, and in this direction the student’s opinions were taken.42% of the students who participated in the study used the edmodo’s, while he was successful, 25% felt social.It is found that 38% of their students support edmodo learning, and 47% of them increased their interest in lessons.In other edmodo courses, the preference rate was 83% and the preference rate was 17%.30% of students who participated in the study believe that the use of edmodo is different.Students believe that edmodo’s task system is 17% to prevent paper waste and 67% to be fast and easy.46% of students have said that communication with the teacher is enhanced as the strengths of edmodo.67% of students say they need internet and 22% say that some of them are in English is from Edmodo’s limitations.33% of students have a limited option of Turkish and 56% of students have the difficulty of using edmodo's by using these sub-themes because it is complicated to upload in the file section.44% of their students said they received help in using edmodo and 56% said they received help in solving mathematical questions.17% of students who did not participate in the study found that they could not find time, 16% did not find time, 17% did not forget that they could not enter the study, 17% did not forget that they did not enter the study, 16% did not use the edmodo application because they were difficult to find classes after they were registered and 17% did not use the edmodo application because they were less interested in mathematics.The experiment group that did not participate in the edmodo application said that 75% of students would prefer to use another social network instead of edmodo.In general, students evaluate the edmodo application from positive aspects in terms of their success in math lessons and the improvement of their communication skills.Through this application they feel successful, social and happy.The application supports their learning and increases their interest in mathematics.The students who participate in the application indicate that they can prefer the use of edmodo in other courses.The application has been found different, useful and efficient.The task system is easy and fast and also prevents paper waste.The strongest aspect of the application has been shown to increase the communication with the teacher.
