After the Turkish people gained independence, the situation changed after the Turkish languages were declared as the state language in their countries. In 1989 the Uzbek language was declared the state language. The law on the “government language” was adopted. The purpose of this law was to increase the reputation of the Uzbek language, to ensure that it was used in all areas of life. As it is known, the use of Uzbekistan in the ancient Soviet times was very limited. After the independence, the influence of the Uzbekistan increased, its function expanded. Today, in ministries, institutions, social meetings are held in the Uzbek language, classes in universities are Uzbek.Official documents, laws are all declared in the Uzbek language, radio and television language are often Uzbek.Books, newspapers, magazines are mostly published in Uzbek. As it is known, after independence, efforts to preserve and develop the Uzbek language have increased. Russian in our language.
