THE PROPHET AND HIS YOUNG COMPANIONS IN THE COMMUNICATION OF ISLAM
The Prophet established good relations with various segments of society at various levels in terms of age, culture and comprehension. Through his methods of address and behavior appropriate to different segments of society, the Prophet created effective communication and established strong ties with these segments. In this context, his communication with the youth and activating them in the process of spreading Islam is a noteworthy aspect. The Prophet attached particular importance to the education of the youth and established good friendships with them. The youth's positive response to him and the bond they formed with him were closely related to their belief in the Prophet's sincerity. The Prophet utilized the youth he raised in various fields during the invitation to Islam. The youth, who were with the Prophet (saw) from the beginning, gave him the strongest support in the first years of his prophethood. During the Medina years, it was the youth who built the Islamic civilization with the Prophet and were the most active in the jihad movements.In this communiqué, we will try to determine the Prophet's approach to the concept of youth through the successful bond he established with the youth and its positive results. For this purpose, the biographies of the young people who played active roles in the construction of the Islamic society, especially as teachers and commanders during his time, are analyzed. It is discussed that the Messenger of Allah placed them in the most suitable positions according to their abilities and did not refrain from assigning them major tasks, despite the Arab practice of considering only those who were older. The hadiths on the value attributed to youth and the biographies of the youth are brought together to reveal the Prophet's relationship with the youth. This relationship sheds light on the communication and approach to be established with young people today.
