DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE POPULAR ECONOMY OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA
The development of digital technologies caused major changes in the business operations of numerous legal entities, that is, in the conditions of the functioning of the economy as a whole. This applies to the functioning of numerous legal entities that, through the application of innovative technologies, expand their influence on the functioning of mediation between supply and demand at all levels, observing both in the country and abroad, in relation to foreign and domestic markets. The benefits of implementing these technologies in the business sector are huge and enable companies to improve business efficiency, spend less money, reduce costs overall, increase income, etc. At the same time, the understanding of the needs and wishes of the consumer is better and more precise, but for a better competitive position. It is considered that nowadays, companies that do not take adequate steps of digital transformation of their own business have a weaker chance of sustaining themselves in a very demanding market, and in order to overcome this, the application of digital platforms is increasingly coming to the fore.
