OBSERVATION OF DIGITAL PLATFORMS AS INTERMEDIARY SYSTEMS BETWEEN SUPPLY AND DEMAND IN MARKET CONDITIONS
Observing digital platforms as intermediary systems between supply and demand in market conditions is of increasing importance for the functioning of the economy as a whole. It is very important to do this in order to make valid management decisions in business operations. Information technologies have introduced an innovative approach to business. One of the ways is the introduction of digital platforms into the operations of numerous companies. Thus, through digital platforms, significant changes could occur in the daily life of individuals, and work relationships are no exception. However, digitization in the sphere of work resulted, among other things, in the establishment of a new actor in the field of performance and demand for work, namely digital platforms, which should be viewed as a possible development factor. The paper highlights the importance of the intermediary role between supply and demand of goods and services, which is shown in Figure 2. Certainly, business viewed in this way has to do with the business of especially influential companies that strive for accelerated development on the foreign market as their focus of action. Is there a digital platform for the manufacturing industry, or some other activity, is an essential question that is answered primarily by the top managers of the companies that lead them in a business sense.
