ELECTRONIC CASE SYSTEM (EVS) PROJECT REVIEW IN PRE-HOSPITAL EMERGENCY HEALTH SERVICES
Objective: In this study, it is aimed to examine the Electronic Case System (EVS) project, which has started to be used in pre-hospital emergency health services (112 Emergency Health Ambulances), to determine the positive and negative aspects and to contribute to the development of the system. In this way, by accelerating the digital transformation in health, to meet the expectations of service recipients at the best level and to increase the quality of the service provided by reducing the workload of the working staff. Method: The study was based on Web of Science (WOS) database search, literature review, content analysis and the experiences of pre-hospital emergency health services personnel in the use of EVS project. Findings: The findings obtained reveal the necessity of the EVS project, which was started to be used in pre-hospital emergency health services, in the modern health system. It was observed that the transportation time to the patient decreased. Thus, it was understood that it was aimed to reduce the morbidity and mortality rates of patients. Conclusion: In Turkey, both the population growth and the increase in the expectations of health service recipients necessitate the modernization and active use of artificial intelligence applications in Emergency Health Services. Forthe development ofthe system, integrationwith artificial intelligence should be ensured to meet the expectations in the health services provided and to be among the leading countries in the health system.
