Within the scope of our work that we started at the Tire Museum in 2017, 119 bronze rings in the museum warehouse have been examined. All of the works have come to the museum through purchase. Some examples have been dated in a general fashion to the Roman Period, the Byzantine Period and the Ottoman Period. Within the scope of our work on the bronze rings in the Tire Museum; Samples with plant motifs, samples with animal figures, samples with cross decoration, samples with geometric motifs, samples with ring stones and samples with inscription-monogram decoration are grouped. In a small number of examples, there are motifs that cannot be identified but that we think are talismans.Although the stones of a few rings with stones are still preserved inside the stone nest, most of the other stone examples do not contain stones. While making a dating suggestion among the evaluations we made in our study, besides the comparison with the rings found in archaeological studies, the decorations in different archaeological finds and the decorations on the rings were also compared and dating suggestions were made in this way. The decorations on the rings; motifs, figures, etc. on many different archaeological finds such as ceramics, belt buckles, architectural plastic works and other ornamental jewelry. It has been tried to bring new dating suggestions by evaluating them together with the decorations. Finally, it will be mentioned that many of the bronze rings of the Tire Museum, like many bronze works in the warehouses of the Turkish Museums, should actually have a place of their own in the exhibition, and the importance of these works in terms of our cultural heritage will be emphasized.
