Özet:
Imām Birgewī (929-981/1523-1573) was born under Suleiman the Magnificent's rule . He just as having many works in the field of Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Tasawwuf and Arabic language. He struggled closely with the problems of his era and struggled with his attitudes and behaviors that were contrary to the Qur'an and Sunnah. According to this understanding, he struggled with the bid'ahs with his works and statements and tried to implement the principle of "al-amr bi'l-ma'ruf we'n-nehy ani'l-munkar" throughout his life. He criticized all kinds of beliefs and practices that are not at the essence of Islam in his works and sermons and stimulated people to return the real Islam in this direction. The influences of Birgewī's ideas were not limited to the period in which he lived, but approximately half a century later formed the intellectual and ideological basis of the Kadızadelis movement, which was a liquidation movement in the most important and long-standing religion in Ottoman history. As a matter of fact, in terms of our subject, the relation of Birgewī with the Salafism school and his understanding of the Salaf's exegesis were evaluated.
