Müfredat, öğretmen rehberliğinde öğrencilerin edinmesi hedeflenen temel bilgi ve beceriler çerçevesidir. Bu temel bilgi ve beceriler sosyal ve kültürel hayat, teknoloji ve bilimde meydana gelen gelişmeler yine toplum ile bireyin ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda değişmekte ve gelişmektedir. Bu değişim ve gelişmelerin tabii neticesi olarak öğretim programlarının güncellenmesi gerekmektedir. Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığı'nın gerekli çalışmaları yaparak hazırladığı taslak program, bakanlığa arz edilerek 02 Mayıs 2017 tarihinde makam onayı alınmış ve öğretim programı güncellenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında 1, 5 ve 9. sınıflarda yenilenen müfredat uygulanmıştır. 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında ise tüm kademe, sınıflarda ve derslerde yeni müfredat uygulamaya konulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı; güncellenen coğrafya dersi öğretim programının, bir değerlendirmesini yapmaktır. 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında, 9. sınıflarda uygulanan dolayısıyla pratikte gözlemleme, inceleme imkânı bulduğumuz, çıktılar veya dönütler elde ettiğimiz bir eğitim yılı olmuştur. Ancak aynı eğitim öğretim yılı içerisinde 10, 11 ve 12. sınıflarda uygulanmadığı için bu sınıfların programı teorik olarak etüt edilmiştir. Güncel programda konu ve kazanımlar; eğitimin niteliği, müfredata ve eğitim bilimlerinin ilkelerine uygunluk açısından incelenmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Kazanım ve konularda gerçekleştirilen yeni Ortaöğretimde Güncellenen Coğrafya Dersi Öğretim Programına Dair Tespitler Ve Öneriler 110 eklemeler, sınıflar arasında yer değiştirilenler, yapısında değişiklik yapılanlar veya mevcut durumunu koruyanlara dair tespitler yapılmış ve çalışmamızda örneklerle gösterilerek öneriler getirilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Ortaöğretim, Coğrafya öğretimi, Öğretim programı, Tespit ve Öneriler. Abstract: Curriculum is the basic knowledge and skills to be acquired by students in the guidance of teacher. This basic knowledge and skills development in social and cultural life, technology and science are changing and developing in line with the needs of the society and the individual. As a natural consequence of these changes and developments, the curriculum needs to be updated. The draft program, prepared by the Board of Education, has been submitted to the Ministry and approval of the authority has been obtained on 02 May 2017 and the curriculum has been updated. In this direction, the renewed curriculum was implemented in grades 1, 5 and 9 in the 2017-2018 academic year. In the academic year 2018-2019, new curricula were put into practice at all levels, classes and courses. The purpose of this study is; to make an assessment of the updated geography course teaching program.In the academic year of 2017-2018, it has been a training year that we applied in the 9th grade and therefore we have the opportunity to observe and examine in practice, and to obtain outputs or feedbacks. However, since they were not applied in 10, 11 and 12 grades in the same academic year, the program of these classes was theoretically studied. Topics and achievements in current program; the quality of education, curriculum and the principles of educational sciences. Findings were made about the achievements and new joints realized in the subjects, the displacements between the classes, the ones who changed the structure or the ones who saved the present situation, and suggestions were made by showing our work with examples.
