Today, communication has become the most important scientific discipline of the age, especially due to the increasing effectiveness of the mass media and more or less influencing every part of the society. Communication wich has interdisciplinary character, sociology, psychology, linguistics, anthropology, philosophy, art, science and politics is in constant interaction with other branches of art. Dazzling advances in communication technologies Many new concepts such as the virtual world, new media, the internet, social media, social networks have found their place in the media dictionary. These emerging new concepts have brought about social, cultural and economical changes that have affected every part of the society. This change in new media technologies has also shaped social behavior patterns. In the course of time the digital culture of the social cul-ture brought about the emergence of new cultural formations, as well as the old visual and auditory entities that brought their digital axis together. Social media, the common point of all segments in recent years, has become the focus of attention for all segments due to their ability to respond to all kinds of students by removing physical spaces without the concept of time. In this study, development in communication technologies, development of new generation communication technologies, social media concept are discussed.
