Violence against health workers has increased over the past few years.Workers in the healthcare institution are more likely to be exposed to violence than workers in other institutions.Moreover, those of these events are perceived as more severe, such as physical injuries, and therefore very few are recorded.The development of society and health workers’ behavior and attitude against violence is important in solving the problem.It is also necessary for the institution and the country to develop policies on the subject and regulate the legislation.Effective communication strategies between patient and patient relatives and health workers between the preventive approaches in health institutions play a key role in solving the problem of violence in health.The aim of this study is to draw attention to current and extremely important violence events against health workers, to provide information on the concepts of violence, types, health violence, communication skills to prevent violence, violence management and violence prevention, and to increase the awareness of society and health workers about the subject.This study will be a source for studies on effective communication skills in the management of violence and violence in health.Keywords: Communication, violence, healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers toward healthcare workers.Working in health institutions is more dangerous in terms of violence than other workplaces.A lot of research has been done and this fact has been confirmed.Moreover, those of these events are perceived as more severe, such as physical injuries, and therefore very few are recorded.Patients and their relatives are also likely to use violence (Gökçe 1993).The frequency of oral violence is much greater than physical violence.Violent events occur most often in emergency services, then in psychiatric clinics.The Health of Violence
