Academic studies on immigration in entry Turkey have been often focused on domestic immigration research for many years.In particular after 1950, extensive studies have been carried out in all areas on the effects of migration in the rural city.This work has made a lot of contribution to the public policy preparers.In particular, domestic migration research is a country that is closely affected by regional and global developments due to its geopolitical position in Turkey, which occurs in the form of production of the economy and in the local structures of the cities.The fact that Turkey is neighboring to the Balkans and the countries in the Middle East where social and political changes are frequently occurring, is influenced in various ways by the consequences of these changes for reasons such as having close relations with these countries throughout history.One of the most important outcomes is the refugee movements.In recent years, the civil war in Syria has had significant impacts on the region countries, mainly Turkey and Lebanon.Turkey has hosted millions of refugees during the Civil War.As a result, the problem of managing the mass refugee movements has emerged, and policies have begun to be prepared to solve the problems.With this process, various legal and corporate regulations have been made by the central administration.At the same time, the universities also first dealt with the subject, the scientific studies have spread and contributed to the process of policy creation.The immigration phenomenon enters the field of work of many different disciplines.Migration is studied in many areas such as politics, sociology, psychology, economics, history, public administration.Because the migration movements that the countries have experienced affect the political preferences of citizens, lead to economic crises, and lead to social and cultural conflicts.Migration research has gained importance for many reasons like this.Immigration research centers are established through the government’s support or the civil society’s organizations.Post-immigration graduate studies are prepared in different forms, such as books, articles, theses.In this statement, the work on Syrian refugees in Turkey after the mass movements from Syria will be examined and the situation of the literature will be discussed.The report aims to investigate the state of scientific studies that will contribute to the point of management of Syrian-based refugee movements that have affected Turkey for many years, identifying the missing points.
