Diopathic Parkinson’s disease (iph) is a chronic, progressive, common neurodegenerative disorder.It affects 1% of the population over the age of 50.It is characterized by a combination of motor and non-motor symptoms (nms).The cardinal clinical symptoms of the disease are: rest tremors, bradikinesis, rijiditis and postural instability.NMS is considered as the common clinical characteristics of i·ph, which has a significant impact on the quality of life of patients.In a broad multi-centric study, it was that 1072 iph was observed at 99% of nms.The most common nms are discomfort, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, constipation, urinary dysfunction, other autonomous disorders (gender, gastrointestinal), loss of smell and sensual complaints.Iph has been shown to have prodromal and premotor stages before the start of motor symptoms.The non-motor symptoms of iph can be seen not only in advanced stages, but in every stage of the disease.21% of patients were to be hospitalized before motor symptoms began.Many studies have shown that substantia nigrada has vitamin D receptors on dopaminergic neurons.The information has been suggested that vitamin D has an important role in neuroprotective and neuromodulation and can protect dopaminergic neurons.The application of vitamin D in animal models has been found to be neuroprotective to dopaminergic neurons.In terms of reducing the risk of i·ph, the role of high serum 25-ohd3 concentrations has been previously proven.Vitamin D deficiency has been correlated with increased severity of motor symptoms, postural instability and decrease in oral fluency.The aim of our study is to explore the severity of the disease in Parkinson's disease and the relationship between the nms and the serum vitamin D levels.
