Consumer's Evaluations on Hotel Businesses in Social Media: The Case of Yozgat and TripAdviser Consumers are faced with some problems during the purchase due to the intangibility of the products in the tourism sector. Consumer tend to benefit of other experience and to decide on direction of their advice because to easier of purchasing decision and to reduce potantial risks. At this point social media undertakes a very important function. Social media is defined as highly accessible and can be generated through social interaction, communication tools and platforms and sharing environments. Today the use of social media tools is increasing in personel and corporate areas. Consumers can find sharing environment by social media tools ideas, experiences, views and suggestions about products and businesses. Consumers can research, read, find, share and develop their knowledge in internet environments where contents are shared. They can also share ideas about product and services with each other and influence each other's purchasing decisions. Therefore, it seems that businesses place themselves in a consumerfocused position try to make the most of these social environments. Businesses use evaluatios made by consumer as an opportunity to raise their quality of service they offer. Users create their views, comments and evaluations about destinations, hotels, restaurants or other services on Tripadvisor. Nowadays, people are reading the information provided by opinion leaders on TripAdviser in order to make the purchasing easy and reduce the potantial risks. It decides by using this sharing. In this study, consumers' comments on TripAdviser, an important social media tool providing consumer evaluations, about the hospitality businesses in Yozgat district investigated. Consumer evaluations from TripAdviser content analized and converted to data and statistic analyses carried out. In the direction of the results obtained from the survey, suggestions presented for the sector enterprises which are active in Yozgat province and can be active thereafter. At the same time, it has been thought that this research will also be helpful for academics planning to conduct research in this filed.
