Writing is a skill that encourages a person to think about a subject, where his thoughts pass through the phases of analysis, synthesis and evaluation. These are the kinds of skills that are actively seen.Texts are meaningful and consistent entities together and formed by the words, phrases and paragraphs related to the subject in the framework of the textality standards.According to the Sun (2007: s.215) the text is also "sensitive structures consisting of one another following phrases, words and images."In Turkish teaching, the teaching books are made up of texts according to themes. In addition, the inclusion of written, informative and usual text type examples in the curriculum books will allow students to learn the structural and functional characteristics of text types, and to distinguish by comparing the characteristics of text types. Thus, a student who wins the text type will approach the text he encounters with certain structural and functional expectations and will be able to understand the text in a shorter time, more accurately. He will be able to consciously use the different language structures and uses of the texts in the same written and verbal environment while producing texts in accordance with the communication purposes (dilidüzgün, 2010, p.107).According to the achievements included in the Turkish teaching program (meb, 2016) the text structures and types of the Turkish lesson should be understood by teachers to students.According to tiryaki and yılmaz (2016, p.2198) the writer creates the text by describing his message in words, sentences and paragraphs according to the structure. At this stage, the text structure of the teaching is activated. The texts are divided into different types and structures according to themes, formation characteristics, schemes. However, the experts have different views and classifications on this. The Turkish lessons in the curriculum (2005) are divided into three texts, narrative, informative and poetry. The texts of cemiloğlu (2001, p. 24) have been classified in the form of events-based species (history, theatre, novel, fairy tale, legend, story, fabl, memorial, travel writing), thought-based species (article, experimentation, speech, joke, criticism, examination), emotion-based species (poetry). The only thing common according to this information is the fact that the texts are taught according to the forms and structures of the texts.Teachers can be taught by transmitting to students which type and structure of text can be used according to the subject.
