The Sekampung watershed is one of 15 priority watersheds in Indonesia that require restoration due to its critical and disaster-prone ecological condition. This study was conducted to identify the application of agroforestry systems in the upstream, middle and downstream areas of the Sekampung watershed, involving farmers' cultivated land. Agroforestry is a land management method that combines agricultural crops with forestry crops, which plays an important role in erosion control, landslide mitigation, and improving farmers' welfare. This study used the transect walk method with a distance of 50 meters between observation points in three villages, namely Air Bakoman Village (upstream), Tresnomaju Village (middle), and Mulyosari Village (downstream). The results showed that the three villages had variations in agroforestry, monoculture, and polyculture cropping patterns. Air Bakoman Village was dominated by agroforestry cropping patterns, while Tresnomaju and Mulyosari Villages showed more diverse cropping patterns. The diversity of crop types found in each location is closely related to land conditions and the economic needs of the local community. The implementation of agroforestry in the Sekampung watershed is considered to have significant ecological and economic benefits, such as erosion control, increased agricultural production, and ecosystem sustainability. This study concludes that agroforestry makes a positive contribution in supporting environmental sustainability and farmers' welfare in the Sekampung watershed.
