Purpose: This study was carried out with the aim of evaluating the behavior of healthy lifestyle students who remain in the state girl home in Zmir.Method: The research was carried out on a total of 124 university students living in the girl's home, ages ranging from 18 to 29 years.Students are subjected to the survey form using the face-to-face conversation technique, according to the World Health Organization’s classification, body mass index (bki) is grouped.Healthy lifestyle behaviors have been evaluated using the "healthy lifestyle behaviors scale ii (sybdö ii)"The Healthy Lifestyle Behavior Scale II measures the behavior of a person that improves health in relation to a healthy lifestyle.The Sybdö ii, which consists of a total of 52 substances, has 6 subfactors.The subgroups are spiritual development, health responsibility, physical activity, nutrition, interpersonal relationships and stress management.Healthy lifestyle behavior scale ii's total score (minimum 52, maximum 208) gives the score of healthy lifestyle behavior.The rating is in the form of a likert of 4, and the rating is made by giving "1" for the response "no time", "sometimes" for the response "2", "frequently" for the response "3", "regularly" for the response "4".The sub-top score range that can be obtained from each of the subgroups of mental development, health responsibility, nutrition, interpersonal relationships is 9-36; and the subgroups of physical activity and stress management are 8-32.Healthy lifestyle behavior scale is interpreted as positive healthy lifestyle behavior with a high score and a total score from the subgroups.The data is evaluated by the statistical package program of the spss version 20.Results: The average age of students participating in the study is 19.0 (11.0) years.The average score of students in sybdö ii was 125.1±17.31.The average score of the subgroups of mental development, health responsibility, physical activity, nutrition, interpersonal relationships and stress management accordingly: 26.0±4.34; 19.5±4.41; 15.1±4.32; 19.8±3.49; 25.9±4.79; 18.8±3.92 was found.There was no significant relationship between the age of the students who participated in the study and the total score of sybdö ii (r=-0.037; p=0.693).There was no statistically significant difference between the body mass index groups and the total score of sybdö ii (p>0.05).There was no statistically meaningful difference between the state of smoking and alcohol use of the students who participated in the study and the total score of sybdö ii (p>0.05).There was no statistically meaningful difference between the students' morning, lunch, evening and midday meals consumption conditions and the total score of sybdö ii (p>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the fast food consumption status of the students who participated in the study, the time of exercise and the total score of sybdö ii (p>0.05).The result: there was no statistically significant difference between the age, bki, smoking, alcohol consumption, morning, lunch, evening, meal, and fast food consumption, exercise time and healthy lifestyle behavior (p>0.05).With the extension of the sample and the involvement of male students in the study, the increase in the study on this subject will keep light on the determination of the factors affecting healthy lifestyle behaviors.Keywords: university student, healthy lifestyle, healthy lifestyle scale
