This study aims to analyze bibliometric and visualize research publications between 2001-2024 on the sustainability of agricultural enterprises in Turkey. OpenAlex was used as a database in the study. In the period of 2001-2024, 6893 open-access publications were reached by searching the full text of the concepts of “sustainable agricultural economic” in journals. Graphs were created using the summary outputs in the OpenAlex database using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. VOS Viewer (version 1.6.20) software tool was used for map creation and visualization. It was observed that the highest number of publications regarding the sustainability of agricultural enterprises in Turkey was in 2023 (1470 publications), and the number of publications before 2008 was less than 20 per year. It was determined that the publications were mostly published in the journals of Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (553), Elsevier BV (368), Springer Nature (310), Süleyman Demirel University (230), Springer Science+Business Media (216). It was determined that the authors who gave the most place to the concepts of “sustainable agricultural economics” were Andrew Adewale Alola (21), Samuel Asumadu Sarkodie (19) and Derviş Kırıkkaleli (18), respectively. It was understood that the institutes to which the authors who published on the concepts of “sustainable agricultural economics” were affiliated were Istanbul Technical University (235), Ankara University (223), and Ege University (208). It was determined that 94% of the publications were in English and 92% were articles. It was understood that the concepts of “application, turkey, assessment, livestock and sustainability” came to the fore in the examination of agricultural enterprises in Turkey in terms of sustainability. It is possible to say that the interest in sustainability in the agricultural sector in Turkey has increased in recent years.
